I am so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I worked with Susan at Ancora Hospital for a number of years. She was the one that saved my life. I was being attacked and if it weren't for Susan, God only knows where I would have been. She truly was a caring person. Always ready, willing and able to help anyone who needed help. I loved her laugh ! She would always have a smile on her face, which was so nice to see.

Mr. & Mrs. Kehrli, Mary, and family - I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. I want to share a poem that helped me get through when my dad passed away and when my mom passed away. I still find comfort in its words and hope that you will, too.
At the rising of the sun and at its going down
We remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter
We remember them.
At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring
We remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer
We remember them.
At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn
We remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends
We remember them.
As long as we live, they too shall live;
for they are now a part of us
as we remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength
We remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart
We remember them.
When we have joy we crave to share
We remember them.
When we have decisions that are difficult to make
We remember them.
When we have achievements that are based on theirs
We remember them.
As long as we live, they too shall live;
for they are now a part of us
as we remember them.

Never have I had someone impact my life the way you did Aunt. Your overall love for life and the sacrifices from others around you made you an intricate part to our family. You always had a smile that would light up a room, and you always had a story or lesson to any situation. You were stubborn, caring, sarcastic, loving, and witty, but those who knew you best can agree those are perfect adjectives. I'm going to miss our lighthearted arguments about football, that look you give me when I was going to do something not your liking, your smile, your warm embrace at every hello and goodbye, the way you say "daaaaaaamn", when you were impressed or flabbergasted. Look down on us Aunt and give us that wink that will let us know all will be okay. I'm going to miss you, and be sure to spread your love and messages at every chance I get. I'm so glad that a part of you will live with me every time I celebrate Keegan's birthday. I love you Aunt Colleen aka my favorite Aunt.
Love your favorite Nephew,
Sam
