Mrs Sorrentino, Paul & family,
I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of your husband & father. If it weren’t for Paul’s influence in 1981, I would not be a cop today !! May God grant you peace and comfort at this difficult time.

To Pat, Vicky, Paul, Bryan and Families,
I am so sorry for the grief you must endure upon losing your husband & father, Paul. Simply put, I loved Paul and will miss him tremendously! I had the pleasure of knowing Paul over 45 years and I couldn’t have had a better friend. I also got to know Pat as well and thought she & Paul were such a loving couple. Working with Paul at the Public Defender’s Office holds countless memories for me. Paul taught me a lot about life. I admired him for his devout faith and the immense pride and love he expressed for every member not only of his immediate but extended family. At one point in my life when I had medical problems, I found myself home alone as my children were away at college and all my sisters at work when I needed someone to drive me to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden for an urgent medical problem. I didn’t need to worry because Paul made himself immediately available to help me when I called him. I could always depend on Paul. There are so many other instances I could list where Paul treated me with respect and acted as a father figure to me. Paul lived his life by example and was true to his wife & family, his faith, and his enduring friendships. He also had a smile that could light up a room. I had to express my deep appreciation for the role Paul played in my life. I was so lucky to call him my friend. Rest In Peace in the arms of Our Lord until we meet again.
