Obituary of Dorothy G. O'Brien

Dorothy (Dottie) G. O'Brien, (nee Gallagher) 87, also known best by her family as "Mommom" of Carneys Point, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Samaritan Center at Voorhees. She was an administrative secretary for the Southern Regional School District and then Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE Dottie enjoyed gardening, sailing, crocheting, dressing up and wearing jewelry, dancing and most especially indulging in sweets with candy and cheesecake being her favorites. Mommom loved time spent with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, John Robert O'Brien; her son, Steven O'Brien and her brother, William Gallagher. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Bye and her husband David of Carneys Point; her two sons, Tim O'Brien of Little Egg Harbor; Scott O'Brien and his wife Gina of Hammonton; her grandchildren, Steve O'Brien, Michael Bye, Katie Rolland and her husband Mark, Philip O'Brien and his fiancée Cristin Castiglia; Lindsey O'Brien and her fiancée, Howard Thomas, Christopher Ulrich and Kristen Gallagher and her husband Vince and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
