Obituary of James A. Patterson

James A. Patterson, Jr., 86, of Buena Vista Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at The Health Center at Galloway. Born in Laurinburg, NC he was a resident of Buena Vista Township for 47 years. He formerly worked as a truck driver and in security at Ancora Hospital. Mr. Patterson was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert Patterson; Charles Patterson and his sister, Madge Alston. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Patterson (nee Rouse); his five children, James A. Patterson, III, Tracy Renee Wideman (Kevin), Wanda Denise Miller (John), Sharon Lynette Patterson, Salim Hakeem Keitt (Victoria); one brother, William Butch Patterson; one sister, Betty Allen and five grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, 11:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
