Barbara Chappine Knight, 72, of Hammonton went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Virtua Hospital, Berlin. Born in Atsion, NJ she was a lifelong Hammonton resident. Mrs. Knight was an aide with the "After 3 Program" at the Warren E. Sooy Elementary School. She formerly was employed by Jamesway Dept. Store in Hammonton for over 27 years. Mrs. Knight enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be sorely missed by all of them. Mrs. Knight is survived by her son: Bryan J. Knight of Hammonton; three sisters, Janice Quirk of Atco; Ernestine Hearn and her husband David; Deborah Will and her husband Daniel, one brother, Ernest L. Chappine, Jr., all of Hammonton and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Arc of Camden County, 215 West White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
