Michael Lupinacci posted a condolence

From the moment Dorothy walked into our house and into our lives, I knew there was something very special about her. She was a bit shy and quiet around us at first, and then once she became comfortable with the entire family her real personality came out. She would never walk in my house or leave without ever saying Hi or Bye, and I was most of the time tucked down in the family room working, but she always made sure she found me. I am so glad Dorothy joined our bowling team and I got to spend every Friday evening with her. It was great watching her keep Chris in line:) We then found out Chris was going to propose and we were all so excited, especially since my wife and I planned to fly to Florida and be there when Chris proposed to her in Disney. Although those plans had to change, it was still so very special watching Chris propose to Dorothy in their back yard, in front of both loving families. Once things opened up, we were finally able to go out to an outdoor restaurant and celebrate Lupinacci style at PJ's with some great food, drink, and joy over welcoming her to our family and for Chris and her to start their life together. Although that was cut short, she will always be a part of our family and we will never forget her. Rest in Peace my Dear. You will be missed and thank you for making my Son the happiest he has ever been in his life.

When Dorothy joined our team in the T.G.I.F. league I knew things would be different. She added spice to the team and kept Chris very much in line. She's one of the nicest people I've met. I cannot imagine the pain that Chris and the respective families are experiencing. I'm still very much in shock over the tragic loss.
To Chris and the families Irene and I extend our deepest sympathy.
Although I tried I cannot put into words how terrible I feel for your loss.

For the short period of time that I knew Dorothy, she was a saint. She would put all others before herself and always could put a smile on your face. She will be dearly missed.

It is rare to find anyone with an open and caring heart that Dorothy had. Her love of life and open expression of life was a ray of sunshine and in the short time I knew her, felt the warmth of her glow. My prayers go out to her mother, Maria, Chris and the family and hope she is at peace, looking down at all the love she inspired.
May the angels welcome her and hope her father is there to great her.

Dorothy was a beautiful person inside & outside. Dorothy made us laugh with her sarcastic remarks on many occasions. We are so blessed to have had her in our lives & for her to love our son as she did. Chris & Dorothy had a love like no other. Dorothy will always be a member of our family & never forgotten. We loved her so much & miss her more than words can say.

I had the privilege to work with Dorothy when she was my English/Composition student at Atlantic Cape. Her kindness and eagerness to learn are the reasons why Dorothy was (and will always be) one of the students I most enjoyed working with. Even after she completed my courses and ultimately her culinary studies at Atlantic Cape, she kept in touch via LinkedIn and Google Plus. Her pleasant posts and updates put a smile on my face. To Dorothy's loved ones: She was a ray of sunshine and a beautiful person. I am grateful and blessed to have worked with her. Thank you for sharing Dorothy with the world.
