I still miss you everyday, Daddy. I’ll never forget the memories we have from Sussex. You played Santa at my elementary school when I was in 2nd grade. I whispered in your ear, “Hi daddy” because I saw your hands and recognized your cologne. I was so proud that I told everyone in class. You took us swimming at the club every summer. We had breakfast with the Disney characters during one of your business trips to Florida. We went to every theme park in Orlando! You let me pierce my ears at age 12 instead of 16 during our Christmas visit to NJ. It was a huge surprise! I’ll never forget having you beside my hospital bed, feeding me, after that horrible day in September when I rolled my car. You said, “I used to feed you as a baby.” You’ve always been there for me while you were here and since you've been gone, you have helped take the love of my life to walk with Jesus. Aunt Barbara told me she told you to come get Bill to help him let go of his life here-it was at the exact moment Bill took his last breath. I will forever be grateful for that because he kept fighting to hold on. He’s no longer suffering with pain and worry about me. Thank you, Daddy. I will forever be your little girl. I love you, Donna.
