Eddie Jackson was born May 2, 1946, and was adored by his loving mother, "Lucille." Eddie, was the eldest of two. He and his beloved sister, Sondra grew up in Newtonville, NJ. Eddie also shared a special relationship growing up with his 1st cousin/brother Thomas Hampton, up and until his final days. Eddie graduated from Vineland Senior High School and later received a valued trade in (Drafting) Auto-Cad Design out of Technical School in Philadelphia. Eddie introduced himself to Sarah his loving wife during high school and married his "Rock" in 1996. Out of this union they had two children, Anthony M. Jackson and Steven E. Jackson. Eddie exceeded expectations in his work and was a valued "Draftsman" employed by Kontes Glass. He worked for this company for over 20 years, until it closed. Eddie, with his skill-set later found employment with Wilmad Lab Glass whereas his work resumed until retirement in March 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Sarah Elizabeth Jackson, and sister Sondra Gardener. He leaves to mourn his sons Anthony M. Jackson, Steven E. Jackson and daughters, Persis Jackson and Stacey Jackson, his grandchildren, Kandice, Tara, Darren, Sara and Omarion, 7 great grandchildren and other family members. Eddie, has left this life full of thanks, forgiveness, and asks to only be remembered at the best of times. Eddie was grateful for the unconditional love he had with his wife and son Tony. My son (Tony) had readily stressed the importance of surrendering to God. I have special thanks for those that have been nearest to my heart in these toughest of times; Tony, Tara and Tom Hampton, Thank You!.
