Obituary of Alberto Calderon

Alberto Calderon, 58, of Hammonton passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico he has lived most of his life in the Hammonton and Elwood area. He had worked at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City. He enjoyed fishing, and watching sports especially boxing. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Calderon, his son, Alberto Calderon Jr., his parents, Jorge Calderon and Rosa Maria Colon, his brothers, Alfredo Burgos and Antonio Crespo. He is survived by his three children, Timothy Calderon, Jessica Calderon and Judy Dixon, his longtime girlfriend, Rachell Lacey, five brothers, Hector Calderon, Reynaldo Vega, Ismael Flores, Bernardo Burgos, and Jorge Calderon Jr., two sisters, Lydia Calderon and Ivelisse Vega, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews. A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. Burial will be private.
