Robert "Bob" Tomasello passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born and raised in Hammonton and was a 1951 graduate of Hammonton High School. He worked for the State of New Jersey as a locksmith at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital before retiring in 1989 after 35 years of service. Additionally, Bob worked part time as a locksmith for Sands Hotel and Casino during its heyday in the 1980's and 1990's. He also owned and operated Hammonton Telephone Answering Service for many years. Bob relished autumn road trips to New England and Nova Scotia with his late wife of 62 years, Ann. Bob could always be found working in the yard, tinkering in his basement workshop, or creating art using multiple mediums. Bob particularly enjoyed solving the world's problems while having coffee with his friends at McDonalds. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife Ann Tomasello, his parents, Susie and Anthony "Spits" Tomasello, his sister and brother in law, Bettie and Beaver Baviera, his brother in law, Carl Mortellite and his sister and brother in law, Ruth and Bill Graul. Surviving him are his son, Jim Tomasello of Hammonton, daughters, Beth Tomasello (Helen Cooke); Susie Tomasello (Kevin Martin) all of Haddon Heights, sisters, Rosemarie (Toots) Tomasello and Dottie Mortellite of Hammonton, dear nieces Emily Reh (Don) of Colorado and Pam Sorenson (Jack) of California and several great nieces and nephews.
