Obituary of Henrietta A. Bucci

Henrietta A. Bucci (nee Schairer), 94, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born on Oct. 12, 1927 in Galloway, NJ and grew up on her parents farm, Hillcrest Dairy in Galloway. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband's business as a Sealtest Milk Distributor for 25 years. In her younger days she enjoyed sewing, roller skating, ice skating, horseback riding, dancing, boating, swimming and acquired many bowling trophies. Yetta was always kind to animals. Her home was always open for conversation with friends and family. She enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, doing puzzles; crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. Henrietta was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Guy F. Bucci, Sr.; her parents, Francis J. and Anna Schairer, her brother, Francis Schairer, Jr.; sisters, Stella Tetrault, Magdaline Braun, Dorothy Grillo and Ernestine McCaughey. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Ferrigno and her husband David; her son Guy F. Bucci, Jr. and his wife Linda, her grandchildren, Lynn Bucci (Michael Auer), Lauren Thomas (Ben), Guy P. Bucci (Toni); David Ferrigno, Jr. and Lindsay Ferrigno (Steph), her two sisters, Roberta Franchetti; Margaret Walters; her brother Louis Schairer (Judy), two sisters in law, Maria Bucci and Miriam Bucci and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 10:30 am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
