Dear Rita,
I am very deeply sorry about Harry. I just so happened to be surfing the internet, looking up people I knew and had gone to school with, when I came across your brother's obituary. I am shocked. Harry was a good guy, and we were friends in Saint Henry's School and beyond that, as you know. But, unfortunately, life has its way of separating people, although, through your parents' hospitality, I had been able to meet up again with Harry for Christmas dinner at your mother's and father's home. Michael Sinn was there as well. Very sadly, Michael passed away from cancer in 2007. Rita, I am crying as I write these words. I don't know what to say but that I am so sorry for your loss. Life is short as it is, but Harry's was too short. Was he sick? What happened to him? I want you to know that he is in my prayers, as all of you are as well. If you'd like to contact me, my phone number is: 267-388-8240 and my email address is: michael.l.kida@gmail.com
Again, please accept my condolences on the loss of a very special person. God bless you.
Michael Kida

I was thinking yesterday of how I always loved when he sang "September Morn," by Neil Diamond. He had such a gift with his voice. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I have the honor of meeting Harry during my days at Tropicana. From the first meeting his light shone on me and everyone he met. I will never forget his talent, not only for performing but his talent for making you feel like you were the only one in the room when he was speaking with you. When he was performing at Trop when he would see me watching he would always play my favorite song next, It's raining Men! Always an inside joke for us. First and foremost he was a family man, many conversations started and ended with his love for all of you. Though we lost touch, he will always have a very special place in my heart, just knowing he was in the world made me happy. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest easy my friend until we meet again.

My deepest condolences to the family and for all that loved Harry. Hearing his gorgeous voice singing here is just simply wonderful. What an amazing voice! But more so, what a truly wonderful man. Harry has been a friend to me long after I left the incredibly talented line up of Central Park and I will miss him so very much. He always knew how to cheer me up, make me smile or give me sound advice. A dear friend. Someone that loved and accepted me without conditions and I will never ever forget that. God bless you, Har. Keep making music and watching over all that will grieve your loss.

Our sincerest condolences! He will be missed! He certainly made me feel special when he saw me! One of my favorite memories was him singing oldies on the porch with Chuck & Gary. I pray for his soul, may he Rest In Peace! May the memories he had with his family & friends help get them through this difficult time!

Somebody I Cared About Died Today
5/23/22
No, we didn’t grow up together or even spend much time together. But this person impacted my life. Every time I was in his company, he made me feel special. So fun and full of life! Always smiling and joking and made me feel my presence was special to him, and that our relationship was important to him. How can you not be deeply touched when you learn of his sudden passing. How do you not feel sad that you lost a good friend and an exceptional human being.
He wasn’t rich or a scholar or particularly worldly, but he worked hard and played hard when he could.
He was beloved for how he made everyone feel, even though it seemed he had just singled you out.
He fed you and didn’t just let you quietly feast on his bounty. He wanted you to try this rare cheese or these special olives that he made an extra effort to purchase, because he knew it was just you who would appreciate them. He delighted in your sheer enjoyment of his delectable selections. (And his Italian ‘ gravy’!! One of the best! )
Most people adored my dear brother, who was disabled, and I had just come along for the ride. But not this man. Not only did he share a rare relationship with my bro (sports …. the true male bond), but had the knack of caring about me and my feelings.
Somebody I cared about died today. I will never forget him or his kindness, and I will miss his Light.
Bye for now, Har! You’re in good company. ❤️

We have some many great memories with Harry & Liz for the past 40+ years. We also had the privilege of being one of the back up for their album "Through The Years". So many wonderful memories we have with you big guy. Thanks for all the memories. Rest in peace Harry!

Our lives at the Elward House will never be the same without your physical presence. You have been our archives of love, life and laughter over the years, always lovingly reminding us of those lost over the years, telling us the funniest stories, keeping all of their memories alive. Your sincere caring of all of us was special. I will miss you Harry - you are being openly welcomed by others that have passed before. Lovingly from 'Cinderella' -- aka Linda
