Obituary of Orlando Fraga Seruti

Orlando Fraga-Seruti, "Big Cuba", 76, of Atlantic City suddenly passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022 in Atlantic City, NJ. He was born on May 21, 1946 in Santa Clara, Cuba to Juana Seruti and Orlando Fraga. In 1980 "Big Cuba" wanted to better his life so he moved to the United States for new beginnings. Orlando lived in California for five years. He moved to Atlantic City and was a resident there for 37 years. Orlando worked as a security officer at the Claridge and Sands Casinos. In 1984 Margarita Patterson blessed him with his one and only son, Kenny Fraga-Seruti. "Big Cuba" enjoyed fishing, he loved watching sports, especially when the Dallas Cowboys and the Phoenix Suns played. He was a die-hard fan of both teams. He is survived by his loving son, Kenny Fraga-Seruti, grandson, Kenyon Fraga, granddaughter, Quadria Bethune, 3 sisters, Lidia Paula Fraga, Felina Fraga-Seruti, Juana Rosa Fraga; 1 brother, Rolando Fraga, 4 nieces, Duneri Borges Fraga, Yoandi Ocana Fraga, Lidia Artex Ocana Fraga, Yaisi Bermudas Fraga; 1 nephew, Reinaldo Borges Fraga, lifelong friend, Margarita Patterson and a host of family and friends. Orlando is now reunited and peacefully resting with his parents. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 11:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Burial will be Private.
