Obituary of Edward William Metzler

Edward William Metzler, 75 of Collings Lakes, formerly of South Philly died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 15, 2022. Ed was born and raised in South Philly then moved to Collings Lakes where he worked for Buena Vista Township Road Department and retired as Director of the the Road Department. Ed also work as a janitor for Buena Vista Township school board. He was also a Fire Commissioner for 30 years for the Buena Vista Township District 5 (Collings Lakes Fire Department). Edward is predeceased by his Parents, Beatrice And Edward Metzler, sister, Beatrice (Babe) Piper and Wife, Faye Metzler. He is Survived by his brother, William Metzler and sister, Elizabeth (Liz)Schaffer as well as his sons Robert(Jen), Edward, Richard and Kenneth( Lynn) Metzler. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Samantha, Brittany and Nina Metzler and Great grandchildren Landon Lillian and Sierra. Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
