Obituary of Joseph A. Constantino

Joseph A. Costantino, 91, of Mullica Township passed away peacefully at home with his daughter by his side on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Born in Philadelphia he has lived in Wharton Park since 1959. He had worked for Johnson Matthey Chemical Plant in West Deptford for 25 years, and he has been retired for 25 years. He was the President of the local Union of the United Steel Workers for 13 years. He also had his a own gas station back in the day. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War on the front line. He was the President and coach for the Mullica Township Little League.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Margaret L. Costantino and his sister, Jeanette Royds. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Salmon and her husband, Dennis, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton.
