My Great Uncle Gene will always be remembered as the man who enjoyed watching his dog and neighborhood for hours on end while sitting on his front porch and Grandmom’s front porch. I could always count on seeing him as I walked home from school and even found myself sad when he wasn’t out there to say hi to. I was proud of my uncle, telling everyone around me that’s my uncle. :) I pray he has found peace now. Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family.
