Obituary of Richard A. Morgan

Richard A. Morgan Jr., 75, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Virtua Health Systems in Voorhees. Born in Somers Points, NJ, he was raised in Hammonton and graduated in 1965 from St. Joseph's High School in Hammonton. Richard was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, and he served on the USS Kitty Hawk. He was a member of several Disabled American Veterans Posts over the years. Richard was an automobile mechanic and he worked at several different car dealerships. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard A. and Marie Morgan Sr., his brothers, Michael Morgan and David Morgan, and his nephew, Mark Sirolli. He is survived by two sisters, Margaet "Peg" Sirolli (Ron), and Edith Wiesedeppe (Rolf), one brother, Edward Morgan, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any Disabled American Veterans Post or any American Legion Post.
