Obituary of Jesus "Jesse" Torres

Jesus "Jesse" Torres, 72, of Hammonton passed away suddenly at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division on Friday, November 4, 2022. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico he was a lifelong Hammonton resident. Jesse retired from the Town of Hammonton Highway Department in 2012. He served in the army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed the outdoors and working in his yard. Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Blanca Torres (nee Tavarez); his three children, Jessica Torres Anderson and her husband Antonio Anderson, Jesus Torres, Jr. and his wife Candice Torres, Miguel Torres and his wife, Pamela Torres; his seven grandchildren, Adriana Anderson, Sofia Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Damian Torres, Phoenix Torres, Haisley Torres and Harper Torres; his sisters, Nellie Caban and Santia Velez; his brothers, Ramon Torres and Pedro Torres. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022, 12:30 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Viewings will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and again on Thursday Nov. 10, from 11:30 am - 12:30 PM.
