I was deeply saddened to hear of Drag's passing. I met Drag as a teenager after my grandmother's passing. My grandmother's patron saint was Saint Antonio. I decided in that moment of her passing to devote my love and time to this saint as well and follow St. Antonio in the July 16th procession - this is when I introduced myself to Drag. I will never forget how welcoming and kind he was. I began truly looking forward to every July 16th to walk with him and this very special group of people who became my "St. Antonio family." I will always cherish his memory and will continue to honor him walking with Annette and Frank every July 16th.
