Obituary of Lucy M. Torres

Lucy Martinez Torres of Hammonton went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at home. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She lived the first half of her life mostly in New York City, where she raised three sons, Baltazar Jr., Robert and Eddie Carrero. In 1971 she married Maximino Torres, they moved to South Jersey where they have lived until now. She is survived by her husband, Maximino, two sons, Baltazar Jr. and his wife Mariana, and Robert. She is also survived by a step-son Gilbert Arroyo (Torres) and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her. A viewing will be held Friday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place Saturday at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
