Obituary of Porfirio Pabon

Porfirio Pabon, 89, of Hammonton passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Virtua Hospital in Marlton after an extended illness. Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico he lived in Hammonton for over 72 years. He formerly drove for the Atlantic County Transportation in Northfield. Porfirio was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Elsa Pabon; his parents, Antonio and Maria A. Pabon; his brother, Salvador Pabon; his grandchildren, Sadie Pabon and Savannah Pabon. He is survived by his eight children, Enrique Pabon (Dorothy), Porfirio Pabon, Jr. (Debbie), Lillian Pabon, Ivan Pabon (Millie), Ray Pabon (Maria), Geraldo Pabon, Maribel Pabon and Edward Pabon (Michele); his brother, Guillermo Pabon; his sister, Margarita Pabon; 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 11:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
