Obituary of Andrew L. Esposito Jr

Andrew Esposito, (Andy) Jr., 62, of Hammonton, passed away at home on Saturday December 2, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends. Andrew was born on December 23, 1960, in Camden, New Jersey, and was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Hammonton High School, Class of 1979. He was very smart and mechanically inclined, which led him to work in the automobile, mechanic, construction, and gaming industries. His most recent position was with IGT in Cranberry, New Jersey. Andy was an avid hunter and fisherman, he was an officer and member of the Antler Shack Gunning Club in Hammonton, New Jersey. He enjoyed experimenting in winemaking and the culinary arts, Andy would make his own sausage, kielbasa, and ham pies to share with his friends and family.
Andy was predeceased by his father, Andrew L. Esposito Sr., and his three children, Cirstin, Hope, and Hunter. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Adrienne Whitney Esposito, his daughter, MacKenzie Esposito, his mother, Caroline Esposito, his brother, Michael Esposito (Delaware), brother and sister in laws, Bernard Whitney (Melinda), Kathleen Barr (Stephen), Maureen DePalma (Mark), Kevin Whitney (Lainie), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and again on Monday December 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street Hammonton, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 11, 2023 10:30 am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Hammonton, New Jersey. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. At Andy's request everyone is asked to please dress casually and members of the Antler Shack Gunning Club to wear your sweatshirts and jeans. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with MacKenzie's college education c/o Adrienne Whitney- Esposito, 1194 Mays Landing Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
