Obituary of Thomas W. Jones

Thomas W. "Tucker" Jones, 72 of Somerdale passed away at home on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Tom was born in Camden and lived most of his life in the Hammonton area before moving to Somerdale seven years ago. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Before retiring he worked as an operating engineer for Operating Engineers Local 825, prior to that he worked as a laborer for Laborers Local 172. He enjoyed golf, fishing, baseball and was an ice cream cake enthusiast. He was predeceased by his wife, Debi A. Jones (nee Albertson), his brothers, Ronnie Jones, Alan Jones and Mickey Crevier. He is survived by three daughters, Melissa Jones (Nicholas Hafto), Jessica Jones (Ahmad Boyd), and Dawn Bartolone, three grandchildren, Alahna Sanders, Jayce Boyd and Jasiah Boyd, and one brother, Gary Crevier (Kim). A visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Winslow Methodist Cemetery, 27 Hall Street in Winslow.
