Obituary of Barbara J. Vazquez

Barbara J. Vazquez (nee Manuel) 76, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Virtua Health Systems in Mt. Holly. Born in Philadelphia she has lived in Hammonton for forty five years. Before retiring she worked as a casino pit boss for Bally's Park Place Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Barbara loved raising cats and having them live with her. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlos Vazquez and her parents, Victor Manuel and Vennie Manuel (nee Trovato). She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Gina V. and Sean Grasso, three grandchildren, Sean R. Grasso, Phillip Grasso and Caroline Grasso. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Camden Companions Animal Rescue at camdencompanions.org.
