Obituary of Everett Dennis Sr.

Everett Dennis, Sr. 93, of Hammonton, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Born in and raised in Chatsworth, he lived in Hammonton for 55 years. He was a retired mechanic with the NJ State Police. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. Mr. Dennis loved animals, history, going to car and air shows and the casinos. He treasured time he spent with his family as they meant the world to him. He was a kind-hearted, generous person and no one had anything but nice things to say about him. He was predeceased by his wife Marie (Baltuskions-Smith) Dennis and his brother, Edward Dennis. Everett is survived by his three children, Everett Dennis, Jr., Linda McMenamin and her husband Jim; Diane Borda and her husband Jim; his grandchildren, Everett Dennis, III, Shaun McMenamin, Lindsey Mitros (Larry) and James Borda; his great grandchildren, Nolan and Violet Mitros; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Corbin and his wonderful caregiver George. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 25, 2024, 10:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Viewings will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
