I knew Pat for the last 15 years of his life. I was a co worker at Cornell and a team mate on the shuffle board table at Sams. His infectious personality and loving attitude towards everyone he met made me feel like I’ve known him my whole life. He’s had many ups and downs the 15 years I’ve known him but his optimistic view on life is inspiring. And if everyone in the world had his attitude on life this world would be a better place. I’ll miss you PQ.

I was incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend, Pat. No words can express how sorry I am for your loss. Pat and I were best friends growing up. Our friendship was filled with many exciting adventures that were both fun and mischievous.
We spent our days fishing at Blackwood lake, building tree forts in the woods, playing pinball at the bowling alley and riding bikes.
When Pat and I saw each other we would talk about our family and the memories of our childhood.
One of my favorite memories of our time together is when we took a watermelon from a neighbors garden on Indiana Ave. We had a plan for taking the watermelon. The plan was to take my bike to the house. Pat would ride the bike and I would be on the handle bars. Pat dropped me off at the house and I crawled into the garden and grabbed the watermelon.
I jumped back onto the handlebars and we rode back to the tree fort. We opened the watermelon with a hatchet and ate it ... our plan worked.
Until this day, every time I eat a watermelon I think of my buddy Pat and tell the story.
This is only one of the many memories that Pat and I shared.
Thank you Pat for being my best friend and my partner in crime. You will be missed.

What a reminder, of how fragile life is! All our steps are numbered and when he calls us home in a blink we are in his presence! I was always impressed with your follow up,on prayers you lifted on my behalf. I know you were delighted to share time with your beloved children and grandchild and what a void you will leave. But this is not goodbye but a brief separation until we all meet again in Glory!
Our sincere Condolences,
Cindy Galacio-Patti and family

I love you Dad, I’m going to miss your corny jokes, you always stopping bye unannounced hahaha and just pouring your love into our lives. I’m going to miss you holding my daughter and making her smile. And you stopping bye while I’m outside working and you saying “what are you up to now? You’re always working on something”.
I really am going to miss you. Thank you for always bringing my wife flowers and making up for when I’m slacking. lol

Pat was an awesome brother-in-love. He loved his kids and grandbabies but more importantly, he loved the Lord. He would never hesitate to ask if he needed prayer. I am thoroughly confident that he is worshiping the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords in heaven’s throne room right now and has been reunited with loved ones that have gone on before. This is not “Good bye”. This is “See you later, Pat.”
