Obituary of Rose N. Benedetto

Rose N. Benedetto, 86, of Hammonton passed away Sunday in South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Born in Bargaintown she was a lifelong South Jersey resident. She formerly worked in the cafeteria at St. Joseph's School in Hammonton. Mrs. Benedetto was a longtime member of the PTA at St. Joseph's School. She was an avid bowler in the Hammonton Woman's League and she enjoyed baking for family and friends. Mrs. Benedetto was predeceased by her husband Michael A. Benedetto, Jr. She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Michael A. and Colleen Benedetto, III of Aurora, CO; Mark A. and Lisa Benedetto of Vineland; one daughter, Marcia Goetzinger and her husband Dave of Wichita, KS, ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish in St. Martin de Porres RC Church, N. Egg Harbor Road, Hamonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday 9:00am until 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ.
