Angeline M. Alessi (Guidotti) 85 of Hammonton passed away on June 23, 2010 with her devoted daughter holding her. Born and raised in Camden, NJ, Angeline fell in love and married Willard Off, the love of her life. Willard or Bill as he was affectionately known, unexpectedly passed away in 1958, leaving her with five children under the age of six to raise alone. Angeline, with the help of her family continued raising her children. She met and married her soulmate, Peter Alessi in 1963. Together they raised the children and welcomed twelve grandchildren. Angeline was retired from the Cookie Factory and National Foods. She was a devoted member of the St. Joseph Parish, the Rosary Society and St Rita's Society. She loved God and never missed going to Sunday Mass. She served as Senior Regent of the Moose Club and enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Citizen lunchtime gathering. She loved and entertained her many friends there. She always volunteered and enjoyed serving at the St. Joseph's Stand at the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in July. She was the number one Phillies fan and enjoyed playing bingo. Angeline was a true lady who was devoted to God. she was a loving and caring mother, mother in law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sophie Guidotti, her husbands, Bill Off and Peter Alessi, her daughter, Angela Lee, brothers, Felix, Jimmy and Joseph Guidotti, and her sister Pauline Haise. She leaves her devoted children, Karen and Jack O'Neil, Dennis and Karen Off, Bill and Bettie Off and Annette and Bill Taylor. She also leaves brothers Charlie and Willie Guidotti and her sister Rose Penn. She leaves twelve grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins who miss her very much. A Viewing will be held Monday 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, N. Third and French Streets in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. For information go to www.carnesalefuneralhome.com
