Obituary of Judith E. DeStefano

Judith E. DeStefano, 73 of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday at home. Born in Wichita, KS she was a resident of Hammonton for fifty three years. Before retiring she worked as a secretary for Hammonton Elementary School. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Hammonton where she served as Past Worthy Matron, and the First United Methodist Church in Hammonton. When her children were younger she was a Cub Scout Leader in Hammonton, and a volunteer at the Hammonton Little League. Mrs. DeStefano enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida, and she was an avid Philadephia Philles fan. She was predeceased by her parents, Oliver and Sara Mae Brandon. She is survived by her beloved husband, Louis J. DeStefano Jr., three sons and their wives, Louis J. "Skip" and Daria DeStefano III of Hammonton, Steven B. and Debbie DeStefano of Hammonton, and John and Michele DeStefano of Atco, one daughter, Laura DeStefano of Hammonton, seven grandchildren, Steven, David, Louis, Alex, Jenna, Jeffrey and Lucas, one brother, John C. Brandon and his wife, Johanna of Hawaii, and one sister, Kathy DiCrispino of Mays Landing. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of lfowers family requests donations to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
