Obituary of Patricia A. Merkel

Patricia A. Merkel, 72, of Hammonton passed away on Friday April 13th. Born in Tuscarora, PA she lived in Hammonton for 43 years. She formerly worked for Presswell Records of Ancora as an inspector and for B. Braun in Mt. Laurel. Mrs. Merkel was a member of the Granny's Club of Atlantic County. She was predeceased by her husband Erwin S. Merkel her son, Anthony C. Merkel, and her granddaughter Rachael Marie Merkel. Mrs. Merkel is survived by her daughter, Verna H. Clouser, her son and daughter in law Sonny and Kimi Merkel all of Hammonton, her grandchildren, Chris "CJ" Merkel, Kayla Merkel, Ronald Clouser , Pamela Nandal, Veronica Merkel and Anthony Merkel, two brothers, Anthony McHale of Winter Haven, FL, Vincent McHale of Lincoln University, PA, three sisters, Ann Marie Burke of Dover, DE, Kathleen Haglock of Essington, PA, and Gloria DeVaco of Prospect Park, PA. She was lovingly referred to as Beau by her five great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the Carnesale Funeral home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 12:30 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations maybe made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
