Obituary of Florence Pignatelli

Florence Pignatelli,(nee Caracciolo) 94 of Hammonton passed away Friday at Innova Health Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Philadelphia she was raised in Blue Anchor, and lived most of her life in Hammonton. Before retiring she was a sewing machine operator for Aggressive Coat Company and also Modern Clothing Company both in Hammonton. After retiring she continued to be an avid seamstress and did alterations for her family and friends. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Worker's Union, St. Rita's Society and the Hammonton Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband Dominic Thomas Pignatelli. She is survived by her daughter, Eugenia Donio and her husband Jack Donio Jr. of Hammonton , two grandsons and their wives, Jack and Cathy Donio III of Waterford, Thomas and Deborah Donio of Folsom, three great grandchildren, Jack J. Donio, Francesca M. Donio and Thomas F. Donio, two sisters, Louise Picciotti of Maple Shade and Marie Caracciolo of Elm. A viewing will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.
