John C. Miller, 68, of Collings Lakes, NJ died on Tuesday in Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center, Pomona, NJ. He was a retired carpenter with the NJ Carpenters Union Local 393 of Gloucester. Mr. Miller was a former member of the Uptown String Band, who participate annually in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade. . He is survived by his wife: Geraldine Miller (nee Alessandrini); three children: John C. Miller, Jr.( Tammy); Jeri Miller; all of Collings Lakes; Robert Miller (Jen) of Somers Point; his six grandchildren: Robert, Nicole, Ashley, CJ, Danielle and Billy; four sisters in law: Pauline, Rickie, Rose and Teresa and his beloved dog "Teddy" . Funeral services will be held Friday 8:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the family.
