Obituary of Dolores A. Spado

Dolores A. Spado. 90 of Hammonton passed away Wednesday at home. Born in South Milwaukee, WI she was a Hammonton resident for seventy years. Before retiring Mrs. Spado worked as a secretary for the N.J. Dept. of Human Services in Hammonton and prior to that at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. She was a former member of the Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She sang in the church choir for many years at St. Joseph's and St. Anthony of Padua Churches both in Hammonton. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Spado Sr. and her two daughters, Carol Anne Krier and Kathleen Gatchell. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Spado Jr. and his wife Toni of Buena Vista Township, and John Spado of Hammonton, seven grandchildren, John, Anthony, Joseph, Lindsay, Heather, Gilbert and Richard, and seven great grandchildren. A viewing will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, 226 French Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton.
