Obituary of Frank J. Raio

Frank J. Raio, Sr., 79, of Folsom passed away peacefully at home on Saturday. Born in Philadelphia he resided in Folsom for 45 years. Mr. Raio was the owner of Raio's Produce Company in Vineland. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was predeceased by his parents Jerry and Adeline Raio, his brother, Ambrose Giammusso, and his sister, Theresa Parducci. Mr. Raio is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Shirley A. Raio (nee Six), his son, Frank Raio, Jr. of Williamstown; his daughter Shelly Damiano of Buena, his brother, Charles Giammusso of Berlin; 7 grandchildren, Monique Raio, Frank Raio, III, Angelina Raio, Alexandra Raio, Natasha Damiano, Ariona Damiano, James Damiano and one great granddaughter, Katelyn Maffei. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. A viewing will be held Wednesday 6:00pm until 9:00p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
