Obituary of Jean Marino

Jean Marino (nee Scibilia) 80, of Hammonton passed away Saturday at her residence. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. Mrs. Marino formerly worked as a bookkeeper for W.T. Grants of Hammonton, for Romolo's Clothing Shop and as a cafeteria worker for the Hammonton School District. She was a member of St Mary of Mt. Carmel's Altar Rosary Society, the Hammonton Senior Citizen's and the DAV Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Marino loved traveling and going places. She loved her flowers and working in her garden. Her favorite pastime was cooking and baking her "secret recipes" and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Joseph Scibilia; her brother Sal Scibilia, Jr. and her son in law Drew Holland. Mrs. Marino is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leon J. Marino; two daughters, Joann Eastburn and her husband Don of W. Chester, PA; Toni Holland of Folsom; her sister Anna LoDuca of Hammonton; five grandchildren, Donald Eastburn, III (Amy), Carrie Imperatore, Lauren Hennessey (Brendon), Joie Imperatore; Jill Eastburn and 11 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Martin de Porres, 129 Park Ave., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening 7:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Thursday 9:30am - 10:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Memorial Donations maybe made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1066, Hammonton, NJ 08037
