Obituary of Joseph Thomas Connors

Joseph Thomas Connors, 49 of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. He was a retired plumber steam fitter for Ancora Hospital. He was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Ancora. Joe was a member of Local 195, IFPTE, and served as their Union Treasurer. He was a dedicated, diehard Eagles fan and he was a member of the Liberty Clown Mummers in Philadelphia. He is predeceased by his parents: John and Barbara Connors and his grandmother: Madeline Kennedy. Joe is survived by his wife: Carol Connors (nee Lancetta); his mother and father in law: Jean and Carmen Lancetta; two sisters in law: Mary Jean Lancetta; Diane Heiting (John) all of Hammonton; two nieces: Amanda Jacobs; Tara Jacobs and his godson: Tommy Lawler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00am in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish at St. Martin de Porres RC Church, Park Ave. & Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 7:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Monday 9:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
