Obituary of Chester F. Peters

Chester F. Peters, 83 of Shamong, NJ passed away Sunday in the Voorhees Care & Rehabilition Center. Born in Camden he was a resident of Shamong for 34 years. Mr. Peters was an United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was an insurance agent with State Farm Insurance for over 38 years. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda Godwin. Mr. Peters is survived by his loving wife, Shirley M. Peters (nee Muller); his daughter, Diana Peters and Lee MacKnight; his son, Kenneth Peters and his wife Alice, his step son and his wife, Frank and Cathy Schmidt and his beloved grandchildren, Samantha Schmidt and Zachary Schmidt. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Friday, July 26 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206, Hammonton. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation PO Box 1066, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
