Obituary of Elizabeth Pezzuto

Elizabeth Pezzuto, 84, (nee Brown) of Buena, and formerly of Folsom, passed away on Wednesday at her residence, surrounded by family after a short bout with a heart condition. Born in DaCosta, NJ on August 24, 1928, she was a lifelong South Jersey resident. Mrs. Pezzuto was a retired machine finisher for Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton where she had many fine years and made lifelong friends. During her long life, she was very social and involved in many committees including the Folsom Vol. Fire Co. ladies auxiliary where she served as President, the Historical Society, Ladies of the DAV in Hammonton Chapter 66. Her greatest love was being part of the Grand Army of the Republic Circle 58. Mrs. Pezzuto was an avid philatelist and coin collector. She loved gardening, arts and crafts and collecting lighthouses. She was predeceased by her husband Michael L. Pezzuto, and her partner of 20 years, Ernest Pangburn. Mrs. Pezzuto is survived by her four children and their spouses, Dr. John and Mimi Pezzuto of Hawaii, Larry and Dotty Pezzuto of Haddonfield, Michelle and Cleve Hester of Mays Landing residing in Bethlehem, PA, Joseph Pezzuto and Bernice D'Agostino of Hammonton; two brothers, Leon Brown of N. Carolina, George Preston Brown of Vidalia, GA, one sister, Emma Grasso of Ocean City, NJ; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Infantino (Dan), John-Henry Pezzuto, Elisabeth Pezzuto, Michael N. Pezzuto, Nicole Hester, Rachel Hester, Shayne Pezzuto, Michael Pezzuto and 6 great grandchildren. and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 12:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
