Obituary of Providencia Torres

Providencia Torres (nee Rivera) , 89 of Winslow passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at home. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico she was a Winslow resident for forty three years. Mrs. Torres enjoyed cooking especially for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Pablo Torres and her sons, Jose Torres, Carlos Torres and her daughter in law, Lillian Torres. She is survived by children, Manuel Torres, Julio Torres (Carmen), Herminio Torres (Vilma), Maria Aponte (Angel), Paul Torres (Lydia), Robert Torres (Lucy), Gladys Reyes (Ray), Angel Torres, Carmen Torres (Pete). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Friday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.
