Obituary of Ralph Canning

Ralph Canning, 74 of Williamstown, formerly of Hammonton passed away with his loving daughter and son in law by his side on Sunday Sept. 15, 2013 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Ralph was a 1957 graduate of John Bartram High School in Philadelphia. Ralph was a past president of the Williamstown Lions Club (1968 & 1969), a member of the Williamstown Masonic Lodge #166. He was a retired surveillance officer for Harrah's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. He was a former limo driver for Playboy and Golden Nugget. Ralph was predeceased by his parents, William & Rose Canning, and his beloved wife Stella. He is survived by his cherished daughter Michelle Geroni & her husband Ernie Geroni Jr. of Elm, his sister, Connie Turner; his brother William Canning and many nieces and nephews. Ralph is also survived by his oldest and dearest friends of over 42 years Joe and Connie Edel of Dover, DE. Visitation will be Friday Sept. 20, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where memorial services will be held at 11:30am.
