Obituary of Joseph C. Campanella

Joseph C. "Stutz" Campanella Sr. , 71, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at home. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there, and a graduate of Hammonton High School. Mr. Campanella served in the Army National Guard. Before retiring he worked as a truck driver for Statewide Highway Safety in Folsom. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local No. 676. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph C. Campanella Jr., his parents, Nunce and Charlotte Campanella; and his brother, William Campanella. He is survived by his wife, Ellie "Edith" Campanella; two daughters, Nicole Bruno (Jake) of Franklinville, and Lori Campanella of Vineland; his twin brother, George Campanella (Marie) of Hammonton; one sister, Leah Gregori of Hammonton, four grandchildren, Xandra, Kristin, Joey and Jacob, and several nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.
