Obituary of Joan Ann Pizzutillo

Joan Ann Pizzutillo of Hammonton and formerly of Cherry Hill left us suddenly on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Born in Camden, NJ on November 16, 1933 she was a devoted wife and mother. She was a huge animal lover that any day on Dog Beach was heaven on earth to her. After the passing of her husband she worked for Campbell Soup Company, retiring in 1997. Joan enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City with her friend Norma. Joan was predeceased by her husband Anthony "Pooch" Pizzutillo. Surviving is her son Mark Pizzutillo of Hammonton, and daughter Karen DiPierro of Linwood, NJ. Her brother Bob Corney (Chris) of Georgia, and nieces and nephews Donna, Jennifer, Missy and Christopher. She will be greatly missed by her guys, "The boys" who kissed her and loved her every second they could Snowball, Coochie, Hercules, Oscar, Charlie and her favorite Sammy. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be sent to any animal shelter of your choice, this will make her smile from heaven. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home.
