Obituary of Doris E. Barrett-Polimeno

Doris E. Barrett-Polimeno (nee Megargel), 87 of Chesilhurst and Hammonton passed away Monday in Cooper Hospital/ University Medical Center. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong area resident. She formerly worked at Ideal Bakery in Hammonton. Mrs. Barrett-Polimeno was predeceased by her husbands, David Barrett and Joseph Polimeno, her daughter in law, Sharon and grandson, David. She is survived by her four children, Sandra Lisa and her husband Carmen of Waterford, Patricia DelBene and her husband John of Hammonton, David Barrett of Hammonton; Janice Villa and her husband Jerry of Deptford; one brother, Charles Megargel and his wife Betty Jo; her two sisters, Kay Gillin of Silver Springs, MD; Phyllis Harmon of Cochranville, PA; her adopted sister, Mazie Staas, her seven grandchildren, Jeanine, David(Christina), Johnny(Kristi), Carrie(Mark), Nicole(AJ), Michael, Natalie and her five great grandchildren, Anthony, Vincent, Luca, Gabriella and David. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
