Obituary of Shirley M. Peters

Shirley M. Peters, (nee Muller) 79, of Shamong passed away Monday at her son's residence. She was a resident of Shamong for 35 years. Mrs. Peters was a retired secretary for State Farm Insurance Co. of Marlton. She was predeceased by her husband Chester F. Peters, her brother Norman Muller, her half-sister, Loretta Keating and step-daughter, Linda Godwin. Mrs. Peters is survived by her loving son and daughter in law Frank and Cathy Schmidt of Gloucester City, her beloved grandchildren, Samantha Schmidt and Zachary Schmidt; her stepdaughter, Diana Peters and Lee MacKnight, her stepson Kenneth Peters and his wife Alice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday October 16, 2014, 10:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua 285 Route 206, Hammonton. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Blackwood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations maybe made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation PO Box 1066. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
