Obituary of Darlene Monzo

Darlene Monzo, 67, of Hammonton passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Vitas Hospice in Stratford. Darlene was born and raised in Vineland and has lived in Hammonton for forty six years. She formerly worked as a billing clerk for Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton. Darlene enjoyed boating with her husband Joe and their friends, watching NASCAR races and traveling to Walt Disney World. She was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Marie Shelton, and her sisters, Emma Sheets and Marie Halloran. She is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Monzo Sr. of Hammonton; one son, Joseph W. Monzo Jr. and his wife, Amy; one grandson, Vincent Monzo all of Sicklerville; and one sister, Donna Prestis of Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM.
