Obituary of Joseph F. Cappuccio

Joseph F. Cappuccio, 90 of Hammonton passed away peacefully on Thursday at home. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Cappuccio was the Founder of Atlantic Sweetner and was President of C & E Canners both in Folsom. He was an army veteran of World War II, where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the Hammonton Jaycees, Knights of Columbus Pallotti Council 3471, the Hammonton American Legion F. A. Funston Post 186, the Hammonton VFW, the NJ Canners Association and a former member of St. Joe's School Board. Mr. Cappuccio was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1942. He loved taking trips to the casino with his wife and going to work everyday. He also was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He made an impression on all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Mr. Cappuccio is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Gloria Cappuccio (nee Donio), his daughter, Paula Cappuccio, three sons and their spouses, Joseph F. and Dawn Cappuccio, II, Robert and Jackie Cappuccio; Stephen and Linda Cappuccio all of Hammonton, his grandchildren, Frank Olivo ( Chrissy), Stephanie Olivo ( Joseph Mlinarcik), Kristin LeBeau (Derek), Melissa Yearicks (Christopher), Joseph Cappuccio III (Katie), Robert Cappuccio Jr., Stephen Cappuccio II, Anthony Cappuccio and 7 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:00am - 11:00am. Entombment will be private. Memorial donations maybe made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, 226 French Street Hammonton, NJ 08037 or to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 6550 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234.
