Obituary of Victor T. Diaz

Victor T. Diaz Sr., 74, of Hammonton passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City. Born in Puerto Rico he was a resident of Hammonton for fifty five years. Before retiring he worked as a single phase meterman for Atlantic City Electric. He had previously worked for W.B. Kessler Clothing Factory in Hammonton. Mr. Diaz enjoyed traveling and camping with his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia J. Diaz (nee Reynolds); one son, Victor T. Diaz Jr. of Sweetwater; one daughter, Jill Diaz - Perna of Hammonton; three grandchildren, Trisha Perna, Brittany Diaz and Joseph Perna: one great grandson, Logan Perna; four brothers, Frank Diaz (Carol) of Williamstown, Luis Diaz (Iris) of Puerto Rico, Robert Diaz (Mildred) of Louisiana, and Extor Diaz (Lydia) of Mays Landing; three sisters, Carlina Quinones of California, Victoria Angueira of Pleasantville, and Maximina Reynolds of Ocean City, also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Stroke Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
