Obituary of Peter Sparta

Peter Sparta, 72, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday Nov. 28, 2015. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Sparta owned and operated Pete's Live Poultry. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine C. Sparta (nee Matulewicz), his daughter, Annette F. Carrelli, his son, Peter A. Sparta, and his brothers, John and Anthony. Mr. Sparta is survived by his grandchildren, Rachael Sparta, Holly Ann Currington and her husband, Darnell, Peter A. Sparta, II, Robert W. Sparta; Allison L. Carrelli; his daughter in law, Jan Sparta; his "adopted son" Brian Hehnly; his sister, Marie Snyder; his sister in law, Rebecca Sparta-Lindstrom; his three great grandchildren, Giavanna A., Aryanna R. and Addyson J. and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, 10:30am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am until 10:30am. Burial will follow in Atco Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday Dec. 2, 2015 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. In lieu of flowers memorial donation's may be made to Mr. Sparta's grandchildren, 436 N. Chew Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
