Obituary of Philippe C. Martineau

Philippe C. Martineau, 63 of Wharton Park, Mullica Twp. and formerly of LaValle de Jacmel, Haiti passed away on Monday Dec. 13. Beloved son of the late Faniel and Leome`ne Martineau. Philippe came to Hammonton in 1973 and was employed by the Hammonton Brewing Co., until 1989. He then went to work at the Tropicana Casino where he worked until 2007. He met and married the love of his life Marie L. Louis in Nov. 1973 and together they made a home in Wharton Park He was a real people person. He didn't judge anyone for who they were or what they did. He was a real happy loving man, who went above and beyond for his family and for anyone he could help. He loved his family and friends deeply. He is survived by his wife: Marie; his sons: Marty, Michael, Philippe Jr., Patrick,; his daughter: Michelle; his 4 grandsons he loved so deeply: Marquise, Tahjamire, Isiah; Jasiah; his siblings: August, Garnot, Clingette, Eva, Midoun, Ivrance, Mari Lourde. He is also survived by the whole Louis Family and a whole host of cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts friends and family. "The King Is Gone, But Certainly Not Forgotten!!!" A viewing will be held Friday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, and again on Saturday 9:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Martin's Church, 129 Park Ave., Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home.
