Hi, Sheryl was my best friend in Junior high school in Plymouth Meeting, PA. We lost touch after she married Tom Hoy and had her boys.

Sadness feels out of place in the memory of one so full of joy. Anger has no place in the memory of one so full of peace. The world should not feel as if it has shifted from its orbit with the loss of one so completely centered … and yet there is sadness and anger and a tremendous sense of unbalance at the loss of our dear friend, Sheryl. It will be nearly impossible to speak of her in the past tense … one so very deeply present in this life.
Her friendship was a gift in our lives, and we will strive to honor her by filling her absence with memories of the time we were privileged to spend with her. Our thoughts are with Chris and his family, and hope that Sheryl’s life of joy and peace will fill them with strength and with her love.
